Your hosts and friends  Cindy, Marielle and Benoit History Domaine Bazinet is among the first outfitters founded in Quebec. It was established in 1934 by Mrs. Hermas and Raymond Bazinet on a 19 kilometre territory covering lakes, rivers, waterfalls and untouched mountains. Benoit and Robert Auger became the owners in 1995. On the site, they built a complete outdoors' centre and undertook major renovations on all levels. Thanks to the new mountain inn, the 24 cabins, the quality of the fishing and the newly accessible lakes and roads, it has become one of the most important and popular outfitters in Quebec. It is situated in Ste-Emélie-de-l'Energie in the Lanaudiere region at an altitude of 1,800 feet. Given this altitude, it offers great fishing even during summer, there are not many mosquitoes and the air and water are exceptionally pure! It remains unmatched for the quality of the water and the abundance of wild, native and cultivated trout. |
